If you want to make perfect boiled eggs you need only to follow one simple rule, which is to never put the eggs in the water until the water is boiling. Then it is just a matter of tracking your time.
For hard boiled eggs with good firm yolks, you boil for 11 minutes, Anything under 7 minutes and you’ll still be in the soft-boiled stage.
