I've had lots of store-bought pound cakes over the years and not one of them could compare to a fresh homemade pound cake made completely from scratch.
What makes it even better still is the fact that this easy homemade pound cake only takes minutes to prepare and then just pop it in the oven.
There's just something about that fresh buttery texture that seems to shine through when you make one for yourself. Not so much though when you bring one home from the store.
Give this easy homemade pound cake a try, and let us know how you did.
